Bio

Dr. Yang grew up in Chengdu, China, where he practiced as an ophthalmologist at West China University of Medical Sciences before moving to the United States.

Dr. Yang earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut and completed a research fellowship in the Molecular Bases of Eye Diseases Program in the Department of Ophthalmology of Harvard Medical School. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Yang subsequently completed his residency of Ocular Disease at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases. Following his residency, he was offered a position as a valuable member of OCB, working in both the Boston and Waltham offices.

Dr. Yang has authored several peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the American Optometric Association. He is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Dr. Yang currently resides in the Boston area with his wife, son, and daughter.
