Bio

Dr. Shukla is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Shukla is an Assistant in Ophthalmology, Active Staff, at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and is also on the staff of South Shore Hospital, Carney Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, and New England Eye Surgical Center.

Dr. Anita Shukla received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and went onto Boston University School of Medicine to receive her medical degree. After an Ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center, she completed a Corneal fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Shukla’s clinical interests include comprehensive ophthalmology with an emphasis on corneal diseases and refractive surgery. She has also published in numerous peer reviewed journals.
