Tina Scheufele Cleary, MD is a Vitreoretinal Specialist at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. She grew up in Texas, where she received her medical degree and completed her Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She then completed a Vitreoretinal Fellowship at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and the New England Eye Center/Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Cleary has been a Sub-Investigator in several large clinical trials for age-related macular degeneration. In addition to age-related macular degeneration, she also treats patients with retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, myopic degeneration, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and other diseases of the retina. Dr. Cleary has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in Retina and Ophthalmology and has authored several book chapters.
