Dr. Siebert, a native of the Pacific Northwest, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Washington in Seattle.  She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she completed clinical internships at OMNI Eye Specialists in New Jersey and New York; the VA Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA; Kaiser Permanente in Daly City, CA; Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA; and Marin Community Clinic in San Rafael, CA.  She furthered her training by completing residency in Primary Eye Care and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA where she received advanced training in managing ocular disease, low vision, and traumatic brain injury.

After moving to Boston she worked in private practice where she specialized in contact lenses, primary eye care, and refractive surgery co-management.  She also served as adjunct faculty of the New England College of Optometry & the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, precepting 3rd and 4th year optometry students at Upham’s Corner Health Center in Dorchester.

She completed two eye care mission trips to Peru and Nicaragua during her career with plans to do more.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, son, and rescue dog Nutella.
