Dr. Shlosman graduated Cum Laude from University of Massachusetts Amherst with Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at New England College of Optometry. At NECO, he was student liaison to the American Academy of Optometry and was a glasses donations coordinator for the Student Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity. He has provided eye care at private practices in the Boston area as well as at Dothouse Health, a community health center in Dorchester. Dr. Shlosman completed his residency at Dothouse Health, where he gained experience in medical and primary optometric care, low vision rehabilitation services, and precepted third and fourth year optometry students. As a volunteer, Dr. Shlosman has participated in several humanitarian trips, providing eye care in Tanzania and Dominican Republic. Outside of optometry, Dr. Shlosman enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, and camping. Dr. Shlosman sees patients in Waltham.
