Mask policy update – April 3, 2024

OCB employees are no longer required to wear masks during direct contact
with patients. Patients and visitors do not have to wear a mask unless they become
symptomatic. This policy change is due to a decline in rates of respiratory illness over
the last several weeks and is in alignment with guidelines issued by Mass General
Brigham. Masks remain optional and we will continue to make them available to any
patient who wishes to wear a mask.

OCB employees are required to stay home from work if they experience flu-like symptoms. We encourage all patients who are coming in for an appointment to call and reschedule
your appointment if you have any flu/cold/COVID like symptoms listed below:

 Fever or chills
 Cough
 Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
 Fatigue
 Muscle or body aches
 Headache
 New loss of taste or smell
 Sore throat
 Congestion or runny nose
 Nausea or vomiting
 Diarrhea

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
