Dedicated to providing the highest level of eye care with a patient-centered approach, Dr. Gerald Tanguilig brings the most current surgical techniques and intraocular lens implants to Cape Cod. During almost two decades of practice on the Cape, Dr. Tanguilig has developed professional relationships with local physicians and surgeons while maintaining ties to advanced eye specialists at MEEI. Most importantly, he has assembled a team of the finest surgical and clinical staff trained in the care of patients of all ages and eye care needs.
Dr. Tanguilig’s special interests include cataract surgery, preventative eye care for patients with diabetes, and early diagnosis of macular degeneration.
Dr. Tanguilig performs surgery at the Cape Cod Eye Surgery & Laser Center and maintains clinical privileges at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary as well as Cape Cod Hospital where he is the Chief of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Tanguilig is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and member of both the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
