OCB congratulates Sharon Brown, Director of Operations, for being honored as one of 20 women leaders in eye care who are paving the way for the future generation of women entering the field of ophthalmology.
Sharon recently celebrated 25 years with OCB. She began her career as an ophthalmic technician in the Boston office. Over the years, Sharon has held the position of Clinical Manager for Boston and Regional Director for OCB’s Cape Cod practices. Sharon became Director of Operations at OCB in 2010. Sharon holds leadership positions with a variety of ophthalmic and community organizations. She is Board President of the National Board of Certified Ophthalmic Executives, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Hawaiian Eye Foundation. In the community, Sharon continues to serve on several Chamber of Commerce boards and is a very active member of the Lions Club.
