Dr. Mathew received her undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University in the Science and Humanities Scholars Program, Pittsburgh, PA and went on to the Boston University School of Medicine to receive her medical degree along with a Masters degree in Public Health. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Mathew is on the medical staff of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, South Shore Hospital, Carney Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, Good Samaritan Medical Center, and New England Eye Surgical Center.

Dr. Mathew is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, New England Ophthalmological Society and a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

Dr. Mathew’s clinical interests include cataracts, diabetes screenings, glaucoma evaluations, and general/comprehensive ophthalmology.
