Dr. Bates earned her Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Ohio State University. She practices comprehensive eye care and works closely with ophthalmologists specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and laser vision correction. She has experience caring for patients of all ages.
Prior to joining Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Dr. Bates practiced eye care at Associated Eye Surgeons in Sandwich and Plymouth, Dynamic Eye Care in Kingston, The Eye Center in Framingham and The Veterans Affairs Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont.
Dr. Bates lives on the south shore with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and rooting for New England sports teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
