Dr. Mark Dacey graduated with honors from Boston College and received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical School.  He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California, followed by his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Dacey was Resident Supervisor and Chief of Vitreoretinal Service at U.S.C. Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Dacey is on the Active Staff of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  He also holds staff appointments to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, Carney Hospital, South Shore Hospital, and Good Samaritan Medical Center.

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists and the New England Ophthalmological Society.   Dr. Dacey is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
