Dr. Santaro earned her doctor of optometry
degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and her bachelor of science
degree at Union College. She completed her residency in ocular disease at the
Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Manchester, NH. In addition to her
position with OCB, Dr. Santaro is the Chief of Optometry at the Manchester
VAMC. She is also adjunct instructor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy
and Health Sciences’ School of Optometry, New England College of Optometry,
Pennsylvania College of Optometry and SUNY Optometry. Dr. Santaro specializes in
ocular disease, glaucoma, pre- and post- operative care and primary care
optometry. She is a fellow of the
American Academy of Optometry and has lectured for the New Hampshire Optometric
Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. She has published
peer-reviewed articles, and recently authored a book chapter on ocular disease.
