Dr. Cronin attended Worchester Polytechnic Institute and received her degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. She then went on to the University of Massachusetts where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Cronin then went on to medical school at Hahnemann University School of Medicine. During her medical school training she spent time at Saint Francis Hospital in Zambia. She did her medical internship at Boston University Medical Center Hospital and her Ophthalmology residency at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. Dr. Cronin then traveled to China, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, the Philippines and Cuba on her Fellowship in International Ophthalmology with ORBIS International. ORBIS is a mobile ophthalmic teaching hospital housed in a DC-10 Aircraft.
Dr. Cronin has been practicing in Southeastern Massachusetts and on Cape Cod since her Fellowship with ORBIS.
Dr. Cronin treats all types of eye problems, including corneal disease, glaucoma treatment, cataract diagnosis, diabetic eye exams and annual eye exams.
