Biography
After receiving his undergraduate education at Harvard College and his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Stampfer completed an internship at Mount Auburn Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Stampfer served two years as an ophthalmologist and instructor at the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine before opening his general ophthalmology practice at Mount Auburn Hospital. He practices at OCB Cambridge and is on the staffs of Mount Auburn Hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and the MIT Medical Department.

When not working, Dr. Stampfer enjoys hiking and photography in New Hampshire's White Mountains.
