 Biography Dr. Fynn-Thompson specializes in medical and surgical treatment of corneal disorders, cataract surgery, diseases and surgery of the anterior segment and refractive surgery.
Dr. Fynn-Thompson received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from The John Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, residency in ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, and fellowship in cornea, external disease and anterior segment at Tufts University School of Medicine and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.
Dr. Fynn-Thompson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has written several book chapters, is published in ophthalmology journals, and presented at several national ophthalmic conferences. She has also participated in basic science research focusing on ocular microbiology and properties of the anterior lens capsule, and clinical research on wavefront-guided refractive surgery technology.
Dr. Fynn-Thompson enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her family.
