You may be aware of recent news reports regarding contaminated injectable medications purchased from or produced by New England Compounding Center (NEEC) in Framingham.  These injectable medications have caused infections in patients who received NEEC injectable medications in connection with certain medical procedures.

On behalf of Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB), Boston Eye Surgery & Laser Center, and Cape Cod Eye Surgery & Laser Center, I want to inform you that these medical practices have not ordered, purchased, or used any product from New England Compounding Center in more than five years.

Please be assured that OCB Physicians number one goal is to always provide you with safe treatment.  If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to call your OCB Physician.
